LONDON HAWAIIAN THEMED WEDDING – DAN & MEGAN
Dan and Megan married in the new year at the rustic Priory Hall in North London. The Hawaiian themed wedding was wonderful. Inspired by Dan’s romantic engagement to Meg. The proposal was impromptu, described by Dan as the absolute perfect moment. On an empty Hawaiian Beach whilst the sun was setting and the planets aligned. She said I do.
Meg and Dan brought their love for travel to their North London wedding. Fairy lights hung from the high beamed ceilings. Palm leaves, hibiscus flowers, and Hawaiian beer decorated the tables. To top it off a giant ALOHA sign at the front of the room greeted all of the guests.
Megan wore a champagne coloured dress with shimmering sequins and a pair of Vans because being comfortable on you, she looked stunning. Dan wore a suit with palm tree detailing on his tie and a special “grape soda” badge an ode to one of our all-time favorite Pixar animation films, UP!
The ceremony
The ceremony took place in a beautiful room with high beamed ceilings in North London. Fairy lights added a really cozy feel which complemented the rustic interior quite well. The ceremony began with a beautiful reading and finished with a big cheer from everyone. It was a wonderful ceremony, full of private smiles and lots of laughter.
After the ceremony, the couple mingled with their guests whilst all the guests made a beeline for the bar. This was the perfect time for us to capture some candid photos. The weather was a little chilly, so we all stayed indoors.
Towards the end of the evening came the speaches were made by the best man and Father of the Bride which was very funny, everybody was holding their stomachs.
The couple were not too fussed about photography throughout the whole night which we totally respected so we made our exit before dinner was served, but we heard the hog roast was to die for!
